New at Delightfully Modern

It's been a while since I posted about new items in my Etsy shop. Actually, it's been a while since I posted, period. What can I say? I've been inspired by other things lately. I can't promise that I'm back, but I did want to make note that I've got a guest post replay up at DC Goodwill Fashionista today. And to share a few recent finds. They're not all up on Etsy yet, but if you're interested, let me know and I'll get you a price.

This Arabia of Finland mortar and pestle appears to be a rare find. I talked to an Etsy seller in Europe who knows more about Arabia pieces than I do about it and she suggested it might have been a seasonal design by Inkeri Leivo.

Then there's this Bitossi lamp I found at the Annandale Goodwill. It didn't come with a shade so I just slapped that one on it for this photo. Now that I look at it, the shade seems a little small, right? Whoops.

Here's a pair of Iittala Harri Koskinen candle holders in smoke grey. One of them has a tiny scratch on top, but they're still in very good condition and they're a great minimalist shape.

Have you heard of Stanley Ballard? There's some great information about him on Modish. This shape and glaze both seem pretty common, but I think they're lovely. So simple and pretty. This trumpet-type shape is also excellent for flower arranging.

Finally, here's a set of glasses I'm not actually sure I'm going to be able to let go of, partly because I'm not sure they're vintage and partly because I love them. It's a set of eight tortoiseshell handblown rocks glasses, though I've only got four pictured here. They've got their original labels on them from Gump's, a high end San Francisco department/gift store and they were made in Italy so right away I think Murano. Anyway, if you like these, you're probably going to have to talk me out of them.

Or possibly pry them from my cold, dead hands.

What have you found lately? Or even not-so-lately?
